The Adventure to Fitness team would like to commend you for dedication and commitment to children’s health and wellness. We are committed to helping teachers like you gain the funds necessary to continue providing physical activity and learning for your students. As a result of this shared commitment, we have put together a list of available grants and resources below:


Popular Options



Adopt-A-Classroom.org is a non-profit organization that connects donors with K-12 teachers in U.S. public, private and charter school classrooms. Donations are tax-deductible and 100% of donations are passed along to the teacher.


DonorsChoose.org lets you share your classroom needs with a thriving community eager to help. Supporters have brought teachers' ideas to life in more than half of all U.S. public schools.


Schools need resources to implement health and wellness practices that help students eat better and be physically active. Thanks to our partners, Action for Healthy Kids has provided $6.6 million in grants to schools since 2009.


Looking for funding to improve the healthy eating and physical activity opportunities at your school? You’ve come to the right place! Up to $4,000 per year is available to qualified K-12 schools enrolled in Fuel Up to Play 60 to jumpstart healthy changes.

Team Nutrition is an initiative of the USDA Food and Nutrition Service to support the Child Nutrition Programs through training and technical assistance for foodservice, nutrition education for children and their caregivers, and school and community support for healthy eating and physical activity.


School breakfast and lunch provides up to 50% of students daily nutrient needs. Yet many students still are not taking advantage of these meals or participating in these programs.
